Gena Morgan

Gena Morgan is the Vice President of Standards at GS1 US, where Gena leads a team of twelve professionals in addressing industry requirements and challenges through the application of GS1 standards, contributing to the development and maintenance of a comprehensive system of open supply chain standards. Prior to this role, Gena served as a Strategic Consultant for Innovation at GS1 US and GS1 GO, focusing on the intersection of supply chain standards and emerging technologies across consumer packaged goods, food service, and pharmaceuticals. Gena's extensive experience also includes consulting on supply chain visibility standards, facilitating the adoption of EPCIS and Core Business Vocabulary standards across various sectors, and a background in women's apparel buying at Uptons and Younkers. Gena holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Merchandising from Louisiana State University.
