Melanie Hilton has a range of experience in the technology and retail industries. Melanie started their career in 2000 as the Manager of Technical Product Management at QRS, Inc. Melanie then moved to Inovis in 2000, where they became the Director of Product Management until 2006. In 2006, they joined GXS as the Senior Global Product Manager, and later became the Director of Retail Industry Marketing from 2010 to 2013. Since 2013, they have been working at GS1 US, first as the Vice President of Industry Engagement for Retail Apparel and General Merchandise, and currently as the Senior Vice President of Innovation and Partnerships. Their work at GS1 US involves identifying and developing new market opportunities, pursuing strategic initiatives, and delivering programs and partnerships that intersect technology and standards to drive positive business outcomes.
Melanie Hilton attended Bethany University from 1990 to 2003, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Professional Studies with a focus on Marketing. Additionally, they attended Red Rocks Community College from 1991 to 1992, where they pursued General Studies.
