Matt Hillyard

Matt Hillyard has extensive work experience in the environmental engineering field. Matt is currently working at GSI Environmental Inc. as a Principal Engineer since August 2023. Prior to this role, they worked at the same company as a Senior Associate Engineer from December 2019 to August 2023. Before joining GSI Environmental Inc., Matt worked at Farallon Consulting, L.L.C. as a Senior Engineer from May 2016 to December 2019. Matt also served as a Managing Engineer at Integral Consulting Inc. from September 2011 to May 2016. Earlier in their career, Matt worked as a Project Engineer at AMEC Environment & Infrastructure, AMEC Geomatrix, and Geomatrix Consultants from December 2004 to September 2011. Matt also had a project engineering role at Geomatrix Consultants from December 2004 to June 2008. Additionally, Matt served as a Staff Engineer at Tetra Tech MFG, Inc. from September 2002 to November 2004 and as an Environmental Engineer at Pacific Affiliates Consulting Engineers from June 1999 to September 2002.

Matt Hillyard graduated from Humboldt State University with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Environmental Resources Engineering in 2001. Matt is also certified as a Civil Engineer by the State of California.
