Eric Routhier has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Eric started their career as a Software Engineer and Project Manager at Dessau, where they worked on software architectures and programming. Eric later joined kCentric.NET as a Scrum Master, helping teams to implement Agile methodologies.
Eric then moved on to Overcast, where they served as the Director of Engineering, responsible for managing Azure costs and providing recommendations to reduce bills. Eric also worked at Workleap, initially as an Architect and .NET Developer, and later as the Director of Technology and Director of Innovation and Technology. In these roles, they developed and launched new products, implemented innovation strategies, and served on the board of directors.
Throughout their career, Eric has demonstrated expertise in web development, mobile applications, cloud architecture, and agile methodologies.
Eric Routhier obtained a degree in Computer Engineering from Université de Sherbrooke in 2004. Additionally, they have earned several certifications from Microsoft, including MCSA: Web Applications, 70-487 - Developing Windows Azure and Web Services, MCSD - Web Application Solution Developer, 70-480 - Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3, 70-486 - ASP.NET 4.5 MVC Web Applications, MCTS 70-516 - Accessing Data with Microsoft .NET Framework 4, and MCTS 70-515 - Web Applications Development with Microsoft .NET Framework 4. Eric has also obtained certifications from Scrum.org, including Professional Scrum Developer I and Professional Scrum Master I.
