Karen Turner

Karen Turner has extensive work experience in the field of business development and proposal management. Karen currently holds the position of Managing Director, Growth & Communications at Groundswell, starting in April 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Accenture from 2017 to 2022, where they served as a Senior Manager at Accenture Federal Services. Before joining Accenture, Karen was employed at Phase One CG as a Senior Manager, Proposal Team Lead from July 2016 to August 2017. Karen also had a long tenure at Booz Allen Hamilton, starting in May 2008, where they worked as an Associate in the Business Development Center of Excellence. In this role, Karen was responsible for managing proposals and developing content for firm priority business development efforts, with a focus on clients in the US Intelligence Community and Department of Defense.

Karen Turner earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from The University of Georgia in 2010. Later, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Applied Intelligence Analysis from Mercyhurst University in 2017.
