John Terry

John Terry has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. John is currently the VP Talent Management at GTT, a position they have held since May 2021. Prior to that, they were the Director of Sales Training at GTT from January 2019 to May 2021. Before joining GTT, they worked at CenturyLink from 2013 to 2018, where they held positions such as Lead Talent Development Coordinator and Lead Sales Trainer. John also has experience as a Business Development Consultant at TeamLogic IT from 2011 to 2013 and as a Training Specialist at Corinthian Colleges from 2009 to 2011. John's earliest work experience includes a role as Director of Sales at New Horizons CLC from 2005 to 2009, as a Data Networks Account Executive at AT&T from 2003 to 2004, as an Instructor at Telecommunications Research Associates from 2000 to 2003, and various sales, account management, and training roles at MCI from 1991 to 2000. Throughout their career, John has demonstrated success in sales, account management, training, and talent management.

John Terry earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in General Studies from the University of Arizona, where they attended from 1986 to 1991. In addition to their degree, they obtained certifications including ATD Master Instructional Designer from the Association for Talent Development (ATD) in 2015, Client Certified Power Messaging Facilitator from Corporate Visions Inc. in 2014, and Miller Heiman Client Associate from Miller Heiman in 2013.
