Martin Humphreys

Martin Humphreys has a diverse work experience in the field of technology, with a focus on roles as an Oracle DBA and various leadership positions. Martin started their career at Pinnacle Computer Systems Ltd as an Oracle DBA and Senior Consultant, where they were responsible for training, administration, and installation of databases. Martin also addressed database requirements for developers and resolved database incidents. Martin later joined Capital One as an Oracle DBA and Unix SA, where they primarily worked on the MIS platform and upgraded a 7TB database. During their time at Schawk UK, they worked as an Oracle DBA, implementing a Disaster Recovery project and providing system support. At Barclaycard, they served as an Oracle DBA and at Select Consultancy Ltd, they were the owner of the business. Martin then joined Interoute as a Director in various roles, including Advanced Services and Application Management Services. Currently, they work at GTT as the Sales Director for Strategic Accounts.

Martin Humphreys earned a BSC Hons degree in Information Technology from De Montfort University, where they studied from 1992 to 1996. In addition, they obtained the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in February and March of 2021.
