William Hughes

William Hughes is an experienced professional with a robust background in communications, quality analysis, and engineering. Currently serving as the Field Communications Manager at Guadalupe Valley Electric Cooperative since May 2018, William has held various roles including Internet Services Field Supervisor and Management Associate. Prior to this position, William worked as a Quality Analyst at FBD Partnership, LP, focusing on data collection and analysis of quality metrics related to component failures. William also contributed as a Quality Engineer Graduate Intern, developing troubleshooting guides for frozen beverage dispensers and analyzing failure data. An academic foundation includes a Master’s Degree in Energy Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Texas A&M University, complemented by research on mobile treatment of flowback water from shale gas production. Additional early experience encompasses roles such as Student Worker at the Integrated Ocean Drilling Program and internships with Weatherford.
