Gene Paik

Gene Paik has over 20 years of experience in sales and marketing in the medical industry. Gene began their career in 2000 as a Channel Sales Manager/Relationship Manager, Account Manager, and Research Manager at Cornerstone OnDemand. In 2003, they moved to Merck & Co., Inc. as a Professional Representative. Gene then joined Orthofix, Inc. in 2005 as an Orthopedic Territory Manager. In 2008, they moved to Covidien as a Senior Hernia Specialist. In 2013, they joined Medtronic as a Senior Clinical Education Manager. In 2020, they joined SafeHeal as Director, US Clinical Operations where they served as primary contact with leading U.S. colorectal investigator sites for a large randomized patient trial. Gene also developed training strategies, created procedural videos, user guides, custom training models and webinars, and contributed to the creation of key corporate documents for Clinical, Compliance and Regulatory groups. Currently, they are a VP, Sales & Marketing and Sales & Marketing Director at GUARD MEDICAL.

Gene Paik received a BA in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley between 1992 and 1996. Gene then went on to pursue a M.S. in Medical Imaging Sciences at the Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin U-Med & Science from 1997 to 1998, followed by a M.S. in Medical Radiation Physics from 1998 to 1999.
