Daniel Marsh

Daniel Marsh has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Daniel is currently working at Octopus Money as the VP of Corporate Development. Prior to this, they held several roles at Octopus, including Head of Adviser Accelerator, where they founded the Adviser Accelerator Group consisting of technology, operational solutions, growth capital, and investment services. Daniel also worked as the Head of Customer at Seccl Technology and in the Growth & Innovation department at Octopus.

Before joining Octopus, Daniel was the Director at Guardian Angel. Daniel started their career at Octopus Wealth as the Head of Sales & Partner, where they launched a wealth management business serving high net worth individuals with personalized financial solutions. Daniel also worked at Octopus Lifestyles as the Head of Sales and Distribution, where they launched a lifetime mortgage business and an additional trust product line for wealthy clients.

Prior to their roles at Octopus, Daniel worked as a Business Development Manager at Octopus Investments, specializing in VCT and Tier 1 VISA product lines. Daniel also held positions at Clarion Events as a Sales Team Manager, building a team of 10 sales representatives, and as a Business Development Manager. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Analyst in Banking and Controls at Syniverse Technologies.

Daniel Marsh received their Bachelor's degree in History from the University of Birmingham, which they completed from 2009 to 2012. In 2014, they obtained an Investment Management Certificate from the CFA Institute. Additionally, in 2016 and 2017, they pursued a Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (DipFPS) from the Chartered Insurance Institute.
