Mandy McCormick Smith

Mandy McCormick Smith, PhD, is an experienced evaluation specialist currently working at Jackson State University and Guardians of Honor, LLC since February 2024 and February 2023 respectively. Previous roles include Director of Research at PAST Foundation from August 2021 to February 2023, and Assistant Professor of STEM Education at The Ohio State University from August 2017 to August 2021. With a background in early childhood education, Mandy has also served as an assistant professor at Capital University and held various teaching positions in chemistry and physics at RAI Online Learning Academy, The Orange County High School of the Arts, and Gahanna Jefferson Schools. Mandy earned a PhD in STEM Education from The Ohio State University in 2015 and a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from the University of Dayton in 2000.
