Foad Jafarinejad has a diverse work experience, starting in 2017 as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Sharif University of Technology, where they worked on the PC-Stable algorithm for discovering causal relationships among variables. Foad also served as a Teaching Assistant during their undergraduate years.
In 2020, Foad joined Technische Universität Darmstadt as a Graduate Student Research Assistant. Foad developed a tool for fetching third-party packages and proposed an algorithm for deobfuscating obfuscated applications. Foad also presented a vision for an abstraction-based approach to detect bugs in deep learning programs.
In 2022, Foad worked as an intern at NEC Laboratories Europe GmbH, gaining practical experience in the industry. Currently, Foad holds the position of Research Development Software Engineer at Guardsquare since 2023.
Foad Jafarinejad obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Sharif University of Technology, where they studied from 2014 to 2019. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at Technische Universität Darmstadt, from 2020 to 2022.
