Rizwan Mahmood

Rizwan Mahmood, CISSP, PMP, has extensive experience in the field of information security and project management. Currently serving as the CEO and Chief Technology Officer of GuardWare Australia since January 2022, Rizwan possesses a strong background in security consulting and implementation, demonstrated during tenure as Director of Data Security and Compliance at e-Safe Systems from July 2015 to December 2024. Prior roles include Chief Operating Officer at e-Safe Systems Malaysia, where Rizwan established a global R&D facility, and Manager of the Centre of Technology and Innovation at Asia Pacific University, focusing on technology incubation and research commercialization. Educational credentials include a Master’s Degree in IT Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Staffordshire, along with certification as a CISSP.
