James Xu

James Xu has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. James started their professional career as an Assistant Research Fellow at the Institute of Guangzhou Geochemistry, Chinese Academy of Science (CAS) in 1989. James then worked as a Mainframe Developer at Guangzhou Zhiyu Software, ltd. in 1993, before becoming a Consultant at CCD Online Inc. from 1994 to 1995. James continued their consulting career at P. Murphy & Associates Inc. from 1995 to 2001.

In 2001, Xu took on the role of Sr. Programmer/Analyst at the Wet Seal, Inc. for three years. Following this, they joined GUESS?, Inc. in 2004 as a Technical Manager and progressed to the role of Director of Application in 2009. In 2011, they became the Chief System Architect, and in 2013 they were promoted to Chief Technology Officer. James Xu's work experience reflects their adaptability and ability to take on increasing levels of responsibility within the technology industry.

James Xu earned a Bachelor's degree in Geology from Nanjing University in China from 1979 to 1983. James then pursued a Master of Science in Geochemistry at the Institute of Guangzhou Geochemistry, Chinse Academy of Science (CAS), China from 1983 to 1986. Following this, James Xu completed their Ph.D. of Science in Organic Geochemistry from the Institute of Guangzhou Geochemistry, Chinse Academy of Science (CAS), China and the University of Bristol, UK from 1986 to 1989.
