Andrea Crawford

Andrea Crawford has a diverse work experience in the fields of web development, digital marketing, and graphic design. Andrea started their career at James Cook University Singapore in 2011, where they served as an Executive Graphic Designer and was responsible for designing advertising materials requested by regional marketing teams. During this time, they also developed digital and print publications, including course brochures, student prospectus, and a commemorative book. In 2014, Andrea became a Senior Executive in Web Development and Digital Marketing at the university, where they developed responsive landing pages and microsite templates, as well as managed online campaigns and social media channels. Andrea ensured the website was up-to-date and performed content updates regularly. In 2016, they briefly held the role of Manager, Electronic and Alumni Marketing (Acting), where they managed the university's social media presence and advised marketing teams on digital campaigns. Andrea also executed multiple campaigns per quarter and contributed to copy-editing, graphic design, and placement/monitoring of ads. More recently, Andrea joined the GuestReady Group in 2018 as a React Developer. In this role, they developed and contributed to tools for managing short-term rental properties using Django and React.js. Andrea also led the frontend development team in creating an online booking platform using Next.js and developed a performant marketing website with CMS using Gatsby and Netlify CMS.

Andrea Crawford began their education in 2009 when they attended Swinburne University of Technology. Andrea pursued a Bachelor of Design in Communication Design during their time there, completing their studies in 2010. After a gap in their education, Andrea returned to academia in 2017 and enrolled at Udacity. Andrea completed the Full Stack Web Developer Nanodegree program that same year.
