Lior Schejter has held various positions in the software engineering industry since 2000. Lior began their career as a Software Developer at Press-sense, followed by a Software Engineer role at Intel Israel in 2002. In 2004, they joined SAP as a Software Engineer and held various positions there until 2007, including Senior Software Development Architect. From 2007 to 2014, they were a Senior Software Architect at Citi. From 2015 to 2020, they were Chief Architect, Lead Architect - Financial Market Compliance LOB, and Product Architect - Anti Money Laundering LOB at NICE Actimize. In 2021, they were a Software Architect at StarkWare, and they are currently a Lead R&D Architect at Guesty.
Lior Schejter obtained a B.Sc. in Computer Science - Software Engineering from Technion, Israel Institue of Technology between 1999 and 2004. Lior then pursued further education at Open University, Israel from 2005 to 2010. In addition, they have obtained several certifications from Coursera and Coursera Verified Certificates, including Graph Analytics for Big Data (2017), Mining Massive Datasets (2015), Principles of Reactive Programming (2015), Machine Learning (2015), Functional Programming Principles in Scala (2014), Reproducible Research (2014), Exploratory Data Analysis (2014), Getting and Cleaning Data (2014), and R Programming (2014).
