Patrick McMahon

Patrick McMahon is an experienced legal and compliance professional with a comprehensive background in financial services. Currently serving as Managing Director and Senior Regulatory Counsel at Guggenheim Partners, Patrick leads Transactional Compliance & Conflicts and oversees Anti-Money Laundering and Know Your Customer efforts for a significant registered investment advisor. Previously, Patrick held positions including Managing Director, Senior Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer at Guggenheim Fund Solutions, and Senior Legal Counsel at Gottex Fund Management, where expertise in negotiating derivatives and prime brokerage agreements was developed. Early career experiences include consulting for Mariner Investment Group and serving as General Counsel at Plus Funds Group. Patrick holds a Master's Degree in Taxation and a J.D. from New York University School of Law, as well as a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Rochester.
