Andrey Cherneha

Andrey Cherneha has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Andrey is currently a Lead Software Engineer at Guidepoint since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Shapeways as an Application Development Team Lead from 2017 to 2023, where they were responsible for solving complex technical challenges and improving application architecture. Before that, they served as an Engineering Lead at CBS Radio from 2013 to 2017, overseeing the development of an online radio player. Andrey also worked as a Lead Software Engineer at Hearst Magazines from 2011 to 2013 and as a Technical Team Lead/Senior PHP Developer at LanguageMate from 2010 to 2011. Andrey began their career as a Software Developer at Code and Theory from 2008 to 2010, where they gained experience in working with various clients and implementing APIs. Andrey also worked as a PHP Developer at ID Society from 2007 to 2008 and as a Technology Coordinator at Acronym Media, Inc. from 2006 to 2007.

Andrey Cherneha holds a Master of Science degree in Information Technology and Systems from Lviv Polytechnic National University. Andrey also obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the same institution. Additionally, in March 2021, they obtained a certification in Inclusive Leadership from LinkedIn.
