Tiya Mitchell, PMP, CPHIMS, PCMH CCE received their Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Management from The University of Alabama in 1995. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Homewood High School in 1991. In 2018, Tiya obtained a Certification in Continuing Education from Bellevue College, specializing in HIMSS Introduction to Healthcare Data Analytics. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in 2018 and Certified Professional in Healthcare Information Management Systems (CPHIMS) from HIMSS in 2014. Tiya has also received certifications such as Patient Centered Medical Home Certified Content Expert (PCMH CCE) from NCQA in 2013 and Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) from PMI in 2006.
