Dani Nelson

Dani Nelson is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Guild Education since September 2021, having previously held the position of Senior Manager, Software Engineering. From November 2017 to September 2021, Dani was the Manager of Engineering at Conga. Earlier experience includes founding SierraRed, where operations spanned from July 2010 to December 2018, and serving as Director of Engineering and Operations at zingfit from February 2014 to November 2017. Dani began a career in engineering as a Research and Development Materials Engineer at American Defense Systems, Inc., focusing on vehicle and personal armor materials from May 2007 to May 2011, and as a Design Engineer at Sikorsky Aircraft, specializing in airframe modeling for the Blackhawk and Comanche programs from July 2003 to August 2006. Dani holds a degree in International Business and Political Science from Quinnipiac University and attended New England Law | Boston for legal studies.
