Saleem Sattar has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Saleem started their career as a Senior Audit Associate at Ibrahim & Co., where they completed a four-year compulsory audit training period. Saleem then moved on to become the Chief Accountant at Osman Sons (Pvt) Ltd., where they were responsible for financial operations and risk management. Afterward, Saleem worked as the Chief Accountant at Modern Textile Mills Ltd. and Deputy Manager Finance at Tata Textile Mills Ltd. Saleem later joined Nina Industries Ltd. as the Manager Finance before eventually becoming the Chief Financial Officer at Gul Ahmed Textile Mills Limited. In their role as CFO, Saleem oversaw various departments including accounts, banking, inventory, sales, purchases, and fixed assets management. Saleem also played a key role in implementing the Oracle R12 ERP system and served as a non-executive director on the board of Gul Ahmed. Throughout their career, Saleem has accumulated significant experience in conducting audits, handling international ventures, and managing financial and administrative operations.
Saleem Sattar has a strong educational background in accounting and finance. Saleem began their studies at Pakistan National School, where they completed their high school education in the field of commerce from 1970 to 1980. Saleem then attended Government College of Commerce and Economics Karachi, where they earned their Bachelor's degree in Commerce from 1981 to 1984. Saleem continued their education at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan, becoming an Associate Member from 1985 to 1993. Saleem further pursued their studies at the same institute and achieved the Fellow Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan degree in Accounting and Finance from 1994 to 2003.
