Fabio Silva

Fabio Silva has extensive work experience in the drilling industry. Fabio started their career in 1996 as a motorman at Figueira Pescas. Fabio then joined Noble Drilling in the same year as a Chief Mechanic, where they were responsible for the maintenance of marine, drilling, and mechanical equipment. Fabio held this position for 17 years and was also in charge of stock management and updating the maintenance system. In 2013, Silva joined Seadrill as a Chief Mechanic and later took on the role of Rig Electrician in 2014-2015. Since February 2022, they have been working as the Chief Mechanic at Gulf Drilling International.

Fabio Silva attended Escola Secundaria Dr Bernardino Machado from 1986 to 1991, where they studied Mechanical. Fabio then pursued further education at Escola maritima e de pescas - Forpescas from 1991 to 1994, specializing in Mecanica.
