Cathie Pagano

Cathie Pagano is an experienced professional in community and economic development, currently serving as the Assistant County Manager for Gunnison County since November 2001. Pagano's expertise includes managing affordable housing projects and providing senior level policy advisement. Previous roles include Director of Community and Economic Development, where Pagano led significant projects such as the planning and funding for Shady Island River Park and a 76-unit affordable housing development. As Senior Planner, Pagano authored the One Valley Prosperity Strategy, earned an APA Colorado Honor Award, and contributed to various economic development initiatives. Pagano co-owns Double Shot Cyclery, overseeing finances and operations, and has provided consultation through the American Planning Association. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Environmental Policy and Management from the University of Denver and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science and English Literature from the University of Colorado Boulder.
