Angela Kobel

Angela Kobel has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Angela most recently worked as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Gunnison Valley Health starting in August 2023. Prior to that, they served in the same role at Lincoln Health from August 2019 to August 2023.

From November 2015 to April 2018, they worked at Southwest Health System, Inc. as the CFO and Interim Chief Information Officer (CIO). In this position, they were responsible for overseeing financial and business operations as well as leading information technology projects.

Angela also held roles at Southwest Health System, Inc. as the Controller from July 2014 to November 2015 and as the Assistant Controller from September 2005 to June 2014.

Earlier in their career, they served as the Office Manager at Montezuma-Cortez School District from August 1999 to September 2005, and as a Bookkeeper at Mountain Gravel and Construction Company from September 1994 to June 1999.

Angela Kobel holds a Master's degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Phoenix, completed in 2014. Angela also achieved a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the same university in 2011. In 2020, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Columbia Southern University. Additionally, Angela Kobel received the Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) certification from the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) in May 2023.
