Taras Basarab

Taras Basarab has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Taras began their career in 2007 as a Cashier at Foxwoods Resort Casino. In 2010, they joined KPMG as an Audit Associate, specializing in financial audits. From 2010 to 2011, Taras worked at EBICON LLC as a Financial Consultant and IFRS Reporting specialist, where they focused on consulting, budgeting, automation of reporting processes, and project management.

In 2013, Taras joined EBICON LLC/UkrLandFarming PLC as a Planning & Budgeting Specialist and Business Analyst. Taras played a crucial role in developing a planning and budgeting model and automating related procedures, including working on business analysis and specifications for an Oracle Hyperion system integrator.

From 2011 to 2017, Taras returned to EBICON LLC as a Senior Financial Consultant and Project Manager. During this time, they were involved in IFRS reporting, setting up corporate reporting functions, developing reporting packages, implementing automated reporting processes using LucaNet software, and conducting financial analysis and modeling.

In 2017, Taras joined Luxoft as a Finance Analyst and later took on the role of Manager of Financial Partners. Taras contributed to various financial activities such as monthly forecasting, annual planning, organizational structure maintenance, budget control, revenue recognition, pricing support, and analytical reporting. Taras also took part in post-acquisition finance business modeling and process implementation for a company in Germany.

In 2021, Taras transitioned to Gunzilla Games and then to Blackwood Games as the Chief Financial Officer, responsible for overseeing financial operations.

Throughout their career, Taras has demonstrated expertise in financial management, business analysis, project management, budgeting, and automation of financial processes. Taras possesses strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

Taras Basarab completed their education in Economics at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy from 2004 to 2010. Taras obtained both a Bachelor's and Master's degree during this time.
