Dan Steffy

Dan Steffy has worked for three companies over the past decade. From 2022 to present, they have been an Optimization Engineer at Gurobi Optimization. From 2012 to 2021, they were an Associate Professor of Mathematics and an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Oakland University. From 2011 to 2012, they were a Research Staff in Discrete Mathematics at the Zuse Institute Berlin.

Dan Steffy attended Oakland University from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mathematics. Dan then returned to Oakland University in 2004 and received a MA in Mathematics in 2005. In 2005, Dan Steffy began studying at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Algorithms, Combinatorics and Optimization in 2010.
