Courtney Strysko

Courtney Strysko has a diverse work experience history. Courtney began their career as an Assistant Manager at Spirit Halloween in 2012. Courtney then became the owner of their own retail store called Move Over Princess in 2013, where they developed and launched a physical and Ecommerce store. In 2014, Courtney joined the San Jose Sharks as an Ice Team Member, where they maintained excellent ice conditions, assisted with on-ice tasks, and engaged with fans at community events. In 2015, they worked as a Promotions Specialist at TEAM Enterprises, representing and promoting various brands through field marketing programs. In 2016, Courtney was promoted to a Buyer and Merchandising Associate at Hockey X Superstore, where they oversaw marketing and social media activities and increased engagement on Instagram. In 2017, they started working as an Off Ice Official at the American Hockey League. Courtney joined HOTALING & CO. in 2018, starting as an Assistant Brand Manager and eventually being promoted to Senior Assistant Brand Manager and then to Associate Brand Manager. Courtney managed brand budgets, contributed to annual brand plans, and oversaw the introduction and repackaging of various brands. Finally, in 2023, Courtney joined Gurstel Law Firm, P.C. as a Law Clerk.

Courtney Strysko is currently pursuing a Doctor of Law - JD degree from The California School of Law, which is scheduled to be completed by 2024. Prior to this, from 2016 to 2018, Courtney earned a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from California State University - East Bay. Before attending university, Courtney attended Diablo Valley College from 2013 to 2015 and obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations.
