Tom Bernardes

Tom Bernardes has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Tom is currently a Co-Founder & CTO at Guru, where they aim to make stock market investment more accessible and simpler for everyone. Prior to this, they co-founded Omnia.Consulting and served as a Technical Specialist. Tom has also worked as a Digital Manager at Nextel Brasil and as a Technical Consulting in Trading Systems Architecture at WUZU. Tom's earlier experiences include working as a LATAM DevOps Specialist, Senior ALM System Analyst, and Senior Systems Analyst/Test Automation Lead at BNP Paribas Cardif. Tom began their career as a Senior Test Engineer/Developer/Team Lead at T&M Testes de Software Ltda and worked as a Developer at BM&FBOVESPA (now B3). Tom Bernardes completed their Bachelor's degree in Systems Information at Universidade Bandeirante de São Paulo from 2008 to 2011. In addition, they have obtained certifications in Administering Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Team Foundation Server and Team Development using Microsoft Visual Studio Team System 2008 from Microsoft, as well as Certification for Test Analyst from IBQTS - Instituto Brasileiro de Qualidade em Testes de Software.
