Sophie Sturdy

Sophie Sturdy has extensive experience in the wine and spirits industry, currently serving as Strategic Projects Lead at Gusbourne since March 2017, where responsibilities include managing the new tasting room and cellar door operations, along with organizing wine tours and events. Prior to this role, Sophie held positions at Highbury Vintners as Assistant Manager and Wine Sales Assistant from November 2014 to March 2017 while pursuing a Level 4 Diploma with the Wine and Spirit Education Trust. Additional experience includes senior communications management at HSBC and consulting on people and change management at Price Waterhouse Coopers, alongside earlier roles at Ernst & Young and Europe Arab Bank. Sophie holds multiple qualifications from the Wine and Spirit Education Trust, including a Diploma in Wine and Spirits and WSET Level 3 in Sake, as well as a BA in English and Philosophy from the University of Bristol.
