Jai Singh

Jai Singh is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technical procurement and electrical engineering, currently serving as the Technical Procurement Manager at Guyana Sugar Corporation since February 2006. Responsibilities include developing strategies for main equipment, materials, and services, as well as identifying and evaluating suppliers through an Approved Vendors List. In previous roles, Jai Singh has held full responsibility for all electrical, electronic, and automatic equipment within the factory and complex, overseeing a team of supervisors, electricians, and operators while ensuring optimal equipment performance and power supply. Education includes studies at Zeeburg Secondary School, GTC/PM, and the University of Guyana from 2003 to 2005.
