Karen Foster

Karen Foster, CPHR, SHRM-SCP, has extensive experience in the field of Human Resources, currently serving as the Director of Human Resources at Greater Vancouver Community Services Society since June 2004. In this role, Karen is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Human Resource function and managing the HR staff. Prior to this position, Karen held roles including Human Resources Manager at the City of Burnaby and Human Resources Assistant at Post Secondary Employers Association, as well as Labour Relations Assistant. Karen's educational background includes a B.A. in Psychology from The University of British Columbia and a leadership program from The Federation of Community Social Services of BC. Additionally, Karen has been a member of the Canadian Council of Human Resources Associations since 2006.
