Eric Campbell's work experience begins in 2001 as an Engineering Intern/Technician at Runton Engineering Inc., where they primarily focused on coil assembly lines. Eric also designed and built multiple racking for heavy steel dies and assembled custom crates. From 2003 to 2003, Campbell worked as a Quality Technician at Briggs Engineering and Testing, performing quality control tests on concrete and soil samples.
In 2007, Campbell worked as a New Product Development Engineering Intern at Rogers Foam Corporation, where they assisted in continuous improvement initiatives, prototype production, failure analysis, and design using SolidWorks CAD software. Eric also worked with an in-house chemist on developing and testing new foam technology.
Starting in 2009, Campbell joined Sonoco as a Design Engineer/Project Manager, where they supported the development of molded and fabricated foam products. Eric achieved first place in an innovative design competition and completed various training sessions in ProE Surfacing, DFMA, and ISTA.
Currently, Campbell is employed at G&W Electric Co. since 2016. Eric has held the role of Mechanical Design Engineer II and CAD Designer/Associate Project Engineer. Their responsibilities include developing new concepts, creating models and drawings, designing components, and promoting error-proof assembly.
Eric Campbell attended the Wentworth Institute of Technology from 2002 to 2009. Eric pursued a degree in Engineering and successfully completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Engineering, Leadership, and Management (BELM) during this period.
