Andy Grigor

Andy Grigor is an experienced industrial designer with a diverse work history. Andy is currently the Head of Design & Innovation for Caroma, Methven, Clark & Dorf at GWA Group Limited since March 2022. Prior to that, they held the role of Head of Design and Auckland Innovation at GWA Group Limited from April 2020 to March 2022. Andy has also served as a Board Member - Design in Business at the Designers Institute of New Zealand from September 2019 to August 2021. Andy has held various roles throughout their career, including being the Group Head of Design & Innovation at Methven Ltd from November 2016 to April 2020, Chief Engineer - Accessories at Fisher & Paykel Appliances from January 2014 to March 2016, Senior Industrial Designer at Breville Australia from March 2011 to January 2014, and Senior Industrial Designer at Sunbeam Australia from 2004 to 2011. Andy started their career as an Industrial Designer at LG Electronics from 2001 to 2004 and Fisher & Paykel Appliances from 1998 to 2001. Additionally, Andy has been recognized for their contributions to the design profession as a Good Design Australia Ambassador since March 2020.

Andy Grigor attended Victoria University of Wellington from 1994 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor of Design (BDes) degree with a specialization in industrial and product design.
