Will Hammock

Will Hammock is an experienced sports journalist and editor with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Sports Editor at Times-Journal Inc. and Regional Sports Director for Southern Community Newspapers, Inc. since June 2017, Will oversees multiple sports departments across metro Atlanta. Will also manages the sports section for the Gwinnett Daily Post, one of Georgia's largest daily newspapers, in addition to two websites. Previous roles include TV Sports Analyst for Batten Communications and Sports Freelancer for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Will holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from The University of Georgia, achieved in 1996.
