Gerlas van Den Hoven

Gerlas van den Hoven serves as the CEO of Genexis since November 2002, leading the company as a European market leader in fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) equipment. In addition, Gerlas holds chairman positions at GX Group and NLconnect, the latter being a trade association for the broadband industry in the Netherlands. Past roles include board membership at Waystream AB and FTTH COUNCIL EUROPE, as well as chairman of the eSociety Platform, which promotes ICT innovations. Gerlas has a solid foundation in the tech industry, having held positions at Genoa Corporation, JDS Uniphase, and Philips. Gerlas completed a PhD in Physics at Utrecht University and earned a Master of Science at the University of Groningen.
