Ann-Charlott Steffen

Principal Scientist at Gyros Protein Technologies

Ann-Charlott Steffen has a diverse work experience in the field of biotechnology and bioanalysis. Ann-Charlott started their career in 2001 as a Ph.D. student at Uppsala University, specializing in biomedical radiation sciences. After completing their Ph.D., they joined AstraZeneca in 2006 as a Senior Scientist, supporting projects related to PK and immunogenicity. Ann-Charlott then worked at MedImmune as a Research Scientist before returning to AstraZeneca in 2011 as a Senior Scientist, playing a key role in establishing a new biologics group for bioanalysis. In 2013, they joined Gyros Protein Technologies AB and held various roles including Application Scientist, Field Application Specialist, Senior Scientist, and currently, they serve as a Principal Scientist. It is clear that Ann-Charlott Steffen has extensive experience in scientific research and a strong background in biologics and bioanalysis.

Ann-Charlott Steffen obtained their Ph.D. in Biomedical Radiation Sciences from Uppsala University, which they completed from 2001 to 2006. Prior to that, they received their M.Sc. in Molecular Biotechnology engineering from Uppsala universitet, taking five years to complete from 1996 to 2001.
