Rohan Rao

Rohan Rao is a Principal Data Scientist at H2O.ai since March 2019, focusing on building machine learning products across various industries. Prior to this role, Rohan served as Machine Learning Lead at Paytm, where responsibilities included leading the machine learning team, establishing an internal ML framework for scalable models, and architecting a data processing pipeline. Rohan also held the position of Director for the World Sudoku Championship 2017 and was a Senior Data Scientist at Belong.co, where Rohan expanded the Data Science team and developed search and recommendations features. Rohan's career began as a Data Scientist at 64 Squares, creating machine learning models for diverse sectors such as retail, e-commerce, and finance. Rohan holds an MSc in Applied Statistics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay and a BSc in Statistics from Ramnarain Ruia College.
