Mario Alvarez

Mario Alvarez has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Their most recent role was as a Business Intelligence Analyst at Habi, starting in March 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Tul as a Business Development Analyst and later as a Business Intelligence Analyst from October 2021 to February 2023. At Tul, Mario generated data analysis and developed strategies based on data to increase customer retention and improve the usability of the application. Mario also created dashboards to analyze key performance indicators and assessed the viability of emerging verticals.

Before joining Tul, Mario worked at Meals de Colombia as a Commercial Asset Maintenance Assistant from January 2020 to July 2020. In this role, they automated dashboards for reporting key performance indicators and analyzed and reported maintenance services for external customers.

Mario's earlier work experience includes roles as a Monitor de Investigación and a Monitor de Color: Lenguaje y Percepción at Universidad de Los Andes in 2019. In 2016, they worked as a Monitor de Algorítmica y Programación 1 at Universidad de los Andes - Colombia.

Mario Alvarez attended ASPAEN Colegio el Rosario from 2007 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachiller Académico degree. In 2015, they enrolled in Universidad de Los Andes, pursuing a degree in Ingeniería mecánica. Mario studied at the university until 2020. During their time at Universidad de Los Andes, from 2018 to 2020, Mario also pursued an Option in Diseño (Design). In 2021, they attended Universidad de La Sabana and completed a Diplomado en Big Data & Business Analytics in the field of Business Analytics. Mario has additional certifications, including a Curso de Programación Básica from Platzi, obtained in April 2021, and a Productividad Personal certification from Google Activate, obtained in May 2020.
