David Hackett

David Hackett has extensive work experience in operations and strategy roles in the manufacturing industry. David currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Habia Cable, starting in December 2022. Prior to that, they were the Senior Director of Global Footprint & Strategy at HEW-KABEL GmbH, from March 2021 to February 2023.

Before their current roles, David worked at TE Connectivity for over 15 years. David'spositions at TE Connectivity included Director of Global Operations for Quality & Lean in Aerospace, Defence & Marine, Director of Global Operations for EH&S, S&OP & Lean in TE Medical, Director of Global Operations for Quality & Lean in TE Industrial, and Head of Global Operations for Rail & Mass Transportation. David also held leadership positions as Lean EMEA + India Manager and Lean Regional Leader (European Operations). David has experience working across various countries, including the UK, Germany, France, Poland, India, Czech Republic, Mexico, Japan, China, Russia, and North America.

David started their career as a Process Engineer at Raychem, a part of Tyco Electronics and Tyco International, from July 2003 to July 2006.

David Hackett pursued their education in a chronological manner. From 1998 to 2001, they attended Warwickshire College, where they studied Design Engineering. After a break, they resumed their education in 2010 at Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd and completed their MSc in Lean Operations in 2012.
