Adam McGrath has had a diverse range of work experience. Adam started as an English teacher and then became the Director of Public Relations at St. Rita of Cascia High School. Following this, they worked as a Writing Tutor and Adjunct Professor at La Salle University. Adam then transitioned to the role of Communications Coordinator at Main Line Unitarian Church. Adam later joined Germantown Academy as the Assistant Director of Communications and Marketing, where they created and executed marketing plans. After that, they worked as the Director of Marketing and Brand Communications at Girard College, where they led an institutional branding study and surpassed fundraising goals. Currently, Adam holds the position of Director of Marketing and Communications at Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia.

Adam McGrath completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Secondary Education and English from La Salle University, from the years 2000 to 2004. Adam then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Humanities at the University of Chicago, from 2004 to 2005. In 2015 to 2016, they enrolled in the Certificate Program for Marketing & Communications at The Nonprofit Center at La Salle University's School of Business.
