Alicia McGhee

Alicia McGhee is an experienced business owner and event manager with a strong background in fundraising and event planning. Since September 2013, Alicia has managed Event Design by Alicia, focusing on community marketing, vendor coordination, budget management, and team assembly for various events. Concurrently, Alicia serves as an event manager for Habitat for Humanity International and the Elgin Master Chorale, overseeing fundraising initiatives. Previously, Alicia held the role of Events Director and Volunteer Coordinator at Fox Valley Food for Health, where responsibilities included managing fundraising events to exceed profit targets. Earlier career experience includes strategic consulting and business development at UPS, as well as sales associate duties at Janke Construction. Alicia holds a degree in Event Planning/Wedding Planning from Harper College and has a background in Economics from St. Barbara.
