Nia Carter

Nia Carter is an experienced nonprofit professional, currently serving as the Associate Director of Donor Engagement at Habitat for Humanity International since January 2022. Previously, Nia held the position of Associate Director of Major Donors Engagement and Communications at CARE from April 2018 to December 2021, where responsibilities included managing donor communications, leading signature campaigns, and fostering stakeholder relationships. Nia also contributed to fundraising efforts as Event Fundraising Coordinator at CARE and Development Coordinator at the Latin American Association, achieving significant fundraising milestones. Additional roles include Foundation Relations Assistant at Boys & Girls Clubs of America and Learning and Organizational Development VISTA at Habitat for Humanity International. Nia holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs from Florida State University.
