Matt Bourret

Matt Bourret has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Matt currently holds the position of Global Chief Information Officer and VP, Platform Shared Services at Hach since January 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Interim Chief Information Officer at Hach from August 2022 to January 2023. Before joining Hach, they held the position of Global Director Water Quality Shared Services at the same company from May 2019 to August 2022.

Before their tenure at Hach, Matt Bourret worked at General Motors, where they served as the Associate Director of OnStar Core Operations from March 2008 to May 2019. Prior to this, they worked at DMAX-LTD (GM Joint Venture) as a Group Leader Network Systems from December 2002 to March 2008.

Matt Bourret has also worked as a Senior Network Engineer at CACI International Inc from November 2001 to December 2002 and as a Network Engineer/Team Lead at Sumaria Systems, Inc. from April 1999 to November 2001.

Matt started their career as a Military Police Officer in the United States Air Force from January 1994 to January 1998, where they also served as a LAN Admin for locally connected computers.

Prior to their military service, Matt Bourret worked at PCM Enterprise (SARCOM) as a Field Service Technician in 1998, at Computown Technologies as a Sales Manager/Lead Computer Tech from September 1998 to December 1998, and at Western & Southern Life as a Sales/Lead Computer Tech from January 1998 to December 1998.

Matt Bourret holds a Master's degree in Network Security from Capitol Technology University, which they earned from 2002 to 2004. Prior to their Master's, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Urbana University, from 1998 to 2000. Matt also has an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science from the Community College of the Air Force, which they obtained between 1994 and 1998. In addition, they obtained the CISSP certification from (ISC)² in August 2004.
