John Sprague

John Sprague is an experienced educator and leader in the field of Theory of Knowledge (TOK) and International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes. Currently serving as Director at TOK-Solutions since October 2024, John has held the position of TOK Coordinator and Teacher of Philosophy at Tanglin Trust School since August 2015. John has also contributed to the International Baccalaureate as an On-Line Workshop Facilitator, a member of the Senior Examining Team, and has played a key role in the TOK curriculum review. Additionally, John has authored several significant publications for Hodder Education related to TOK and served as Lead Editor of IB Review Magazine. Previous roles include Director of the International Baccalaureate Programme at Sevenoaks School and Associate Dean of Academic Affairs at Leysin American School in Switzerland. John holds a Master of Theological Studies from Harvard Divinity School and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and English Literature from the University of California, Davis.
