Simon Mugford

Simon Mugford is an accomplished author and editor with extensive experience in children's publishing. Currently, Simon serves as an author at Hachette Children's Group, co-creating the Football Superstars series and contributing to the Pat-a-Cake imprint as an editor. Simon has also written for the Collins Big Cat readers series at HarperCollins Publishers and the Rising Stars/Reading Planet series for Hodder Education. Freelance work includes writing sports trivia and activity books for CARLTON BOOKS LIMITED, along with a role as a commissioning editor at Penguin Random House UK. Simon's educational background includes a degree in Historical Studies from Goldsmiths, University of London.
