Lakelon Bailey is a software engineer intern at IBM since May 2023, where responsibilities include developing end-to-end software for Devices@IBM and creating a Python service for data pipelines and reporting. In addition to this role, Lakelon founded and leads the software engineering team at ACTprep.com, Inc., managing the development and maintenance of features for over 130 daily active users. Previous experience includes academic coaching roles, where Lakelon successfully coached numerous students, leading some to achieve high ACT scores. Currently serving as the director of engineering and technical lead at Hack4Impact UTK, Lakelon oversees the development of a data visualization software for the United Way of Greater Knoxville. Lakelon is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and completed a Full-Stack Web Development Bootcamp at Vanderbilt University.
