Taran Anantasagar

Taran Anantasagar is currently the Director of The UPenn Alt Protein Project and a Software Developer at Penn Labs, where Taran contributes to the development of the Penn Mobile application used by over 10,000 students. As Technical Lead at Hack4Impact, Taran led the creation of Exposurepedia, an innovative encyclopedia for exposure therapies. Additional experience includes the role of Quantitative Trading Intern at IMC Trading and Teaching Assistant for CIS 1210 at the University of Pennsylvania, where Taran teaches data structures and algorithms. Taran has also served as an AI Instructor at Inspirit AI, educating high school students in advanced programming and machine learning topics. Previous internships include software engineering roles at MathWorks and Ripple Interactive. Taran is pursuing a dual master's and bachelor's degree in Computer Science at the University of Pennsylvania, with a background in Computer Science and Mathematics from Lehigh University and additional education at Carnegie Mellon University.
