Bhaswati Sarma

Bhaswati (Mona) Sarma is a Staff Software Engineer and Manager at Walmart Global Tech since September 2017, leading the Customer Data Backbone Team in building a customer segmentation platform that integrates various third-party APIs for targeted marketing. Previously, Bhaswati served as a Senior Software Engineer at Zaloni and held multiple engineering roles at the University of California, University of Wisconsin-Madison, and the Traffic Operations and Safety Lab. In addition to professional engineering roles, Bhaswati mentors entry-level engineers at Hackbright Academy. Recognized for contributions to transportation systems, Bhaswati received the ITS Project of the Year award twice. Bhaswati earned a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
