Carsal Blake

Carsal Blake is an experienced youth worker currently serving as an Assistant Youth Worker at the London Borough of Hackney since January 2023, and also holds the position of Youth Leader at Hackney CVS since July 2019. Engagement in various initiatives includes partnerships with the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime, focusing on public health and violence reduction programs, and mentorship for young Black men. Additionally, Carsal Blake is involved as a Youth Justice Leader and Community Researcher with Account Hackney, participating in community monitoring of policing issues. Previous roles include Peer Educator for Safer London, facilitating mental health discussions, and workshop facilitator at the African Community School. Academic qualifications include a BTEC Extended Diploma in Engineering from the College of Haringey, Enfield and North East London, and GCSEs from The Urswick School.
