Emmanuel Akin

Emmanuel Akin currently serves as the Head of Year at Little Ilford School, having started in September 2023. Emmanuel has extensive experience in youth engagement and sports management, holding the position of Chief Operating Officer at BORN 4 SPORT CIC since April 2015, where the focus is on enhancing sports opportunities for young people in Hackney and surrounding areas. Additionally, Emmanuel is involved with Hackney CVS as a youth facilitator and youth leader, and has contributed as a facilitator with Football Journeys, a charity dedicated to creating opportunities for youth across London and the UK. Moreover, Emmanuel serves as a Youth Justice Leader with Account Hackney, part of an advisory group addressing policing issues within the community since 2012. Education includes obtaining GCSEs from The City Academy in Hackney.
